@Onel5969: Just wanted to draw your attention to the comment from @SiliconProphet: on the draft page. Have your concerns been addressed? --Cerebellum (talk) 11:20, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cerebellum, hi. In a word, no.. As I said in my note on their talk page, "Particularly, every quotation needs a footnote." There are numerous quotes still without citations. In addition, if you look at WP:CIT, there is not enough information in the footnotes to pass WP:VERIFY. Onel5969 TT me 12:26, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Onel5969 I must be missing something. The quote in "Sealed Letter" is sourced to Boyce. The three quotes in "Coptic text" are all sourced to Gardner, as indicated by "Gardner published three fragments of letters". The quote in "Paraphrase in Latin and Chinese" is sourced to Jing Zang. --Cerebellum (talk) 12:37, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cerebellum, I don't think simply attributing something to a book is sufficient. If we were sourcing something which was contained in The Iliad, we wouldn't simply put The Iliad by Homer. We'd at least require page numbers. Onel5969 TT me 12:49, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Onel5969 All that for AfC?? I think you and I fundamentally disagree. My reading of WP:AFCPURPOSE tells me that if an article has a >50% chance of surviving AfD, I should accept it, we can worry about content issues in mainspace. But I'm sure I won't change your mind so I'll let it go and let another reviewer decide on this particular article. --Cerebellum (talk) 13:02, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cerebellum, If this was a spanking brand new article, I'd agree. But it had been tagged for almost two months without the issue being addressed. I'm not a big fan of perma-tagged articles. If I had passed this as "reviewed", there was every indication that this is what it would become. Onel5969 TT me 13:08, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cerebellum, Onel5969 Can one of you add the page numbers to the citations from this article https://brill.com/view/book/edcoll/9789004439900/B9789004439900_s007.xml for the excerpts? I have lost access for the next month SiliconProphet (talk) 10:56, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cerebellum, Onel5969 I finally managed to find the page numbers so the original reason no longer applies SiliconProphet (talk) 18:31, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
