History date is wrong

According to Maxwell youtube channel, the original concept was done in 1998. Not 1995 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVTyJ3Yecx0 — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrueYears (talkcontribs) 04:48, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

Where did the "Controversy" section go?

Does anyone know? -Halen of HPNC —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.76.169.37 (talk) 19:50, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Most likely deleted if there was nothing to back the claims up. treelo radda 19:58, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Fan Fictions

Should fan fictions like 'Snafu's "Grim Tales' be added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.170.43.76 (talk) 08:36, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Are you meaning just a regualar fanfic? If it is not official, it really shouldn't be mentioned specifically...Unless it went something like,"The Grim adventures continues to be very popular and a variety of fanfiction has been created...examples being "TitleofFanFic".At least, that's my view. It should at least be mentioned that there are some, but that's just me.It probably didn't help, sorry. --MinaBlues 17:59, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
To answer both of your queries, no, never. baa! radda 19:11, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Of course it should. In See Also sections or something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kurtle (talkcontribs) 17:04, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Category:The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

Why can't the Wikipedia experts just create a category for things related to the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy if the show is so popular and has a fanbase? They should create "Category:The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy" for articles related to that show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.15.208.64 (talk) 22:47, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

Commentary about series' success, etc

Recently LoverVideogame2 has added content that I don't find useful. ([1][2]) Commentary like "As of 2014 Billy and Mandy remains as the number one best successful shows Cartoon Network has ever made" needs to be adequately sourced. "Success" is subjective. "Best" doesn't even belong in the article. We're not interested in the opinions of editors, we only care about the opinions of reliable sources. Secondly, this content, "Creator Maxwell Atoms posted on his blog and said if he could he would revive the show but he would also want to work on other projects" is not particularly noteworthy. It doesn't suggest that there will be a revival, it doesn't suggest that there could be a revival, it only suggests that Atoms, if he could, would be interested in reviving the series. This is meaningless. Presumably anybody who was given an opportunity to revive something that was taken off the air might say that they would want to do so. Attempting to draw a conclusion, particularly one that is being highlighted as "Possible revival" is inappropriate. (I will also note that it has been added before, and removed.) For these reasons, I have again cut the content. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:26, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

"Movie"??

All sources I can find state that there are 3 TV movies from 2007-2008, all of which are listed here. However, two places in the article allude to another one, a 2001 movie simply titled "Billy & Mandy" (listed in the "preceded by" section, and by the video game section which states it was based off of it). Additionally, the List of Grim & Evil Episodes page states that the short "Meet The Reaper" is based off of this "theatrical pilot film". Does this actually exist? As far as I can tell, it doesn't, and its mentions should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.255.32.76 (talk) 02:08, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

Billy and Mandy premiered as its OWN series in 2003.

Yes, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy premiered in 2001, but not as its own series. It aired originally as part of Grim & Evil. What you should know is that The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy actually premiered as its OWN series on June 13, 2003. Cartoon Network probably false advertised the show as a "new season" or something, when they probably should've said "If you love Grim & Evil, then you'll love Billy & Mandy, get ready because Billy and Mandy are finally getting a show of their own. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. New series premieres June 13 part of Summer Fridays, only on Cartoon Network." Or something like that. Billy and Mandy still premiered as its own show in 2003. --67.226.57.244 (talk) 14:50, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

Request for the chaged of the links of the article in other languages

I noticed in the Languages section that some of the links of each language of this article goes directly to the list of episodes of this show. Can somebody please change those links directly to the show's name? --Wikiguy (talk) 17:48, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

There were SIX seasons, not seven!!

Billy and Mandy's 2003 episodes also originated from Grim and Evil. So, therefore, all the episodes from 2001 to 2003 are all season one episodes of Billy and Mandy; "Five O'Clock Shadows" is a bonus episode of season one. So, if you think there were 7 seasons, you're completely wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmUewQU0ShY This video proves it. --FlapjackRulez (talk) 23:58, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
