Agatha Christie in Karachi (?)

[edit]

The book cover has a controversial quotation by Agatha Christie that claims that the mystery queen acknowledged Safi's monopoly over originality in the genre.

I would suggest a clearer statement of the case:

The book cover contains a quote, allegedly by Agatha Christie to a reporter in Karachi, acknowledging Safi's status as the pioneer of mystery fiction, though doubts have been raised over whether Christie ever visited Karachi.

Also, your cite for this story quotes Christie’s son as the source for doubting her Karachi visit. Christie never had a son, only a daughter. Valetude (talk) 11:28, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
