In 1977 to 1980ish, this was the name of a New Orleans punk band. May want to add a page. They have a facebook page and one of the band members maintains a band website.

Recent move
[edit]ShelfSkewed (talk · contribs) recently moved the article here without discussion. Why? The term itself is not a normal search term for the topic the Normals was redirected to, so I think is was done in error. Also, "band" should have been the disambugator, not "Christian band" as there is no other band to disambugate against. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:39, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- I take that last statement back, there is The Normals (New Orleans band). Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:41, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- There are three uses with articles, and The Normals (film), despite being at a disambiguated title, has traffic comparable to the Christian band's article, so there is no reason to consider the band the primary topic for the term. The two bands were already listed on the Normal dab page, so I added the film (and a novel without an article) and redirected the base name and two incomplete dabs there. If you'd like to split off the plural "The" uses to a separate dab page at The Normals, that would be fine.—ShelfSkewed Talk 03:48, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
