This article is not NPOV at all!

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Neutral point of view (NPOV) at [[1]]. It is one of the ["Pillars,"] by which Wikipedia operates. This book review is not encyclopedic, far from verifiable (in fact, you list no sources but the OCLC number for the book!), and certainly seems to be "original research," seeing that it is an essay that somebody wrote, essentially a hodge podge of opinions on Jefferson Davis' writing style and editing skills along with some nice appeals to [Authority.]. For example, in what articles reviewing literature does a section describing Critics' Response to the work come before a synopsis of the work itself? I've nothing much to add toward improving the article (which is to say I wouldn't know where to start), but what this article accomplishes certainly seems outside the scope of the Wiki project.Good Ship Venus (talk) 07:43, 23 August 2013 (UTC)23 Aug 2013.[reply]

Can't see the problem - except that the Content and the Critical Reception should logically be transposed. The article seems to cover the topic fully and professionally. Valetude (talk) 18:27, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
