Overlinking?

[edit]

In the plot summary section, next to all the character names is a link to the article of the actor that does the part. We want the readers to know who plays which character, yes, but the links, I think, there are too many. Could we put the character names next to the actors in the infobox? I am going to go ahead at this point and be bold and remove the links but leave the actor names. ɱўɭĩєWhat did I dowrong 23:36, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These links are fine, see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Films/Style_guidelines#Plot.--Patrick 17:40, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Short Critique?

[edit]

Does the critique really belong in an encyclopedia article? A summation of some popular critiques of the film I can see, but this is clearly just someone rattling on about it. Belongs more in a blog, I feel. McFlynnTHM 13:22, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia additions

[edit]

I just added, under the trivia section, that the "If You Rescue Me" song, is adapted from the Velvet Underground (VU) song, "After Hours". Why did someone take it down? Why wouldn't that be considered 'Science of Sleep' trivia? Some people don't that the song is from VU and may think the song is original. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.33.69.174 (talk) 06:52, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the Special Features on the DVD the woman who made the fabric props for the movie said that when the director asked her what the name of the horse was she said "Stay Golden Ponyboy" a reference to 'The Outsiders'. But actually all her horses are named Heaven. The director misunderstood her and called the horse Golden Pony Boy. I don't remember the name of the woman and I don't know how to site this anyway. Initial Attraction

[edit]

I was more under the impression that Stephane formed an immediate attraction to Stephanie, although it was Zoe who he suspected liked him. Did anybody else get that idea, or was I just mistaken? Avantgarde73 16:27, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm fairly certain you have it the wrong way around. He clearly told Guy something along the lines of "I like my neighbor's friend, but I'm afraid it's my neighbor who likes me." That's why he asked for Zoe's phone number in his dream-letter. Also the first night the three of them went out he was clearly jealous of Guy dancing with Zoe. As far as Zoe's feelings for Stephane, she stated she already had a boyfriend and seemed more flattered by his crush rather than interested in him. But my own theory is that he subconsciously liked Stephanie from the beginning, yet it took a while for his feelings to surface in his own head. Hoof Hearted (talk) 13:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Version B

[edit]

Does anyone think the Version B of the movie should be mentioned in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.71.57.150 (talk) 05:06, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Critical Reception

[edit]

We ought to have something about how well the film did, in the eyes of audience and critics, how much it grossed, etc. I've not seen the film and don't know much about it, but I'll add a blurb. Brauden (talk) 22:41, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
