The use of the word Yaweh in this article is not correct. In the Book of Bamidbar, in the story of the 12 spies, the names Yaweh, Elohim, and El is used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.64.234.248 (talk) 09:46, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know where else to put this or how to add comment but "Victory at Jericho" is overly euphemistic for the what happened in the story that was more of a slaughter, destruction, rape, genocide than a victory. The importance of this is that it continues to be a positive story in many people's minds. I have no religious or political agenda and am not looking to defame any religion, just to get the story right. Whinestein (talk) 00:24, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do not know how you got the idea "The Victory at Jericho" was a genocide and rape? That is no where mentioned in the Holy Bible or in Jewish Thora. Comments like this will bland out the Holy Scriptures and result a vapid effect towards a particular group of people in public eye. I strongly recommend you to do some homework, learn and understand things properly before you make a comment like this. (talk) 08:48, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
