Use of "present" in the infobox

A discussion can be started here, concerning the use of "present" in the infobox. -- /Alex/21 03:28, 16 March 2019 (UTC)

Kevin Rankin

His character’s name is spelled Elliott per IMDB and official Netflix subtitles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8801:9300:385:DCC7:6F1C:3428:EE18 (talk) 20:24, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

Which train station is the filming location?

The article states that a filming location was Toronto's Union Station, but it appears to actually be Hamilton's old CNR station, now the LIUNA Station. If you compare the footage with the photo at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LIUNA_Station this is pretty clear. The two buildings are architecturally similar but differ substantially in size.198.91.146.6 (talk) 15:25, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

You need to provide a reliable source to actually confirm that. — YoungForever(talk) 17:18, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

Diego's power

Diego is not confirmed to have enhanced breath-holding abilities in the show. Even the source used states this. --Landfish7 (talk) 00:13, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

I agree.

In the comics it does not say that either 06etc (talk) 23:37, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

This part should be updated: in the last episode of season 2 we can see he can also modify the trajectory of objects he didn't launch (a bunch of bullets in that case). It looks like is power is rather magnetokinesis — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.87.190.229 (talk) 14:53, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

Childrens names

@Threecaster: I noticed that you made edits regarding the children's names: "Hargreeves gives the children numbers rather than names but they eventually are named by their nanny robot mother, Grace, as: as (sic) Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five (his only name) Ben, and Vanya." I've read the referenced source and cannot find any mention to back this content addition (re: named by their nanny robot mother, Grace). Am I missing it within the source? Thanks. Maineartists (talk) 17:09, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

@Maineartists: I'm brand new to this talk thing. :p I forgot about sourcing - the tidbit of the names origins comes in the dialog during the show. Something about Diego (maybe) griping about dad "He couldn't even give us names, he had to get Grace to do it!" (From memory, which maybe complete dyslexic derps), I caught it sometime while watching the show. A transcript would solve the issue, but that may take some time. Meanwhile I'm sure I'll watch the series again and I'll keep a routine running to pull it out and I'll post the time and episode. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Threecaster (talkcontribs) 15:30, March 5, 2019 (UTC)

If it's mentioned in dialogue then it doesn't need an external source (it's easily verifiable).— TAnthonyTalk 15:45, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
Easily verifiable? That is open for debate (not just with this series - but with film, television, etc in general). It forces the reader to perform OR and find out where / when on their own by having to watch said media. Please supply WP policy that backs up your claim: "If it's mentioned in dialogue then it doesn't need an external source". Even a YouTube clip is necessary for dialogue. Sorry, but I'm contesting this. If it's easily verifiable - verify it. Thanks. Maineartists (talk) 15:55, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
  • Just to be clear, I'm contesting the insert: "they eventually are named by their nanny robot mother, Grace, as:" - which is not supported in the source. Thanks. Maineartists (talk) 15:57, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
See MOS:PLOTSOURCE; plot summaries do not need sourcing, assuming there is no interpretation involved. Reading a book or watching a film and summarizing plot points is not original research. I seem to remember something like what Threecaster quoted, but as he/she is unsure, I've got the pilot running now in my office and I'll try to verify.— TAnthonyTalk 16:11, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
In the scene in the pilot where they stand in the rain and Luther dumps Hargreeves's ashes, Diego says "My name is Number Two. You know why? Because our father couldn't be bothered to give us actual names, he had Mom do it!" I'll put a hidden note attributing this to the pilot in the cast list entry to avoid future challenges, but that is not something we usually do for plot points made clear in the primary source.— TAnthonyTalk 16:25, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

On the subject of names, I reverted some vandalism to the childrens' names. 207.14.29.3 (talk) 20:55, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

I've found no reference whatsoever to "Archagan Hargreeves" whatsoever beyond this wikipedia article and other articles referencing it, nor in the series or even the fandom wiki. I therefore suggest removing them 80.39.209.179 (talk) 15:06, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

Star transitioning

How is Netflix going to handle this? Will they update the storyline to have Elliot Page’s character transition too? 2600:1014:B064:D947:54E9:5602:94BD:957E (talk) 19:14, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

It is up to the creator, executive producers, and/or writers of the series, not Page. — YoungForever(talk) 22:59, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
They've stated that Vanya will not transition and that Elliot will continue playing Vanya as a cis-female. QueerFilmNerdtalk 23:43, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Thay also said they will try to change as more past credits as thay can. IKhitron (talk) 02:00, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
The ip address is talking the actor's character, not the actor themselves FYI. — YoungForever(talk) 04:52, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
