Well done
[edit]I haven't seen the movie but I appreciate that having read the wikipedia article the decision as to which side Rachel chooses is not revealed. Well written. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.255.122.231 (talk) 14:26, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Ridiculous Plot
[edit]Am I the only one who thinks that the idea that a full blooded Native American baby could not be so different looking so as to not be identified by Caucasians? Or even when that baby became an adult? This plot is just absurd.
I absolutely agree and have thought so ever since I saw the movie for the first time on TV many years ago.2600:1700:7F11:6420:842F:CE8F:45E1:478C (talk) 21:07, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
Production Problems
[edit]According to Turner Classic Movies three crew members were killed on a return flight to the US. And, during a filming break, Audie Murphy and a friend decided to go duck hunting on a nearby lake. The boat capsized and Murphy nearly drowned, but was saved by Inge Morath, a female photographer who had been taking pictures nearby. 149.20.203.67 (talk) 22:04, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
