Talk:Theology on Tap

This movement started 20 years ago in Chicago, and seems to be gaining ground.

It is controversial among Catholics themselves because of the presence of alcohol at gatherings; some prominent church leaders are on the record as supporting it.

The fact that a notable Archbishop (who is soon likely to be elevated to Cardinal, per his Wikipedia entry) addressed a gathering and made a joke about it leads me to believe that it is, in fact, now notable, so I included that in the original entry.

Even if the entry is deleted now, I'm sure it'll be re-created and left to grow at some point in the future.

Also, just Googled "Theology on Tap" and got 93,000 results ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by PennaBoy (talkcontribs) 03:44, 30 November 2006

I agree, this isn't a speedy - notability is asserted. It would be good to have the notability front and center though; I don't know enough about the group to do much myself. Perel 05:00, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
