This article requires substantial rewriting to leverage the writing of neutral third party sources. There is far too much reliance on first party sources. Please edit to derive the content from third party sources. It is not enough to write great books, if no one reads them... and evidence that someone reads them comes from reviews of those books or when someone describes how they used these ideas to produce a successful implementation. I have no doubt that this information can be found. Mr. Erl's work is very well known. So the sources probably exist.
