citation for iron tree? and if we're mentioning it what ended up happening to it?

Good question. It took generations of iron-rich stream inundation for the petrified tree to form as it was found. Heff01 (talk) 20:40, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Name used anymore?

The article sort of implies something that may not be true. I live quite close to this area, and as best as I can tell, the name is no longer in use. As recently as the 1970's there was a school by that name in the area, but is long gone now. Would it be better described as a historical name for an area of modern Ambler?
