Thromboxane-A synthaseThromboxane synthaseThromboxane synthase is (according to some Googling) more frequently used than Thromboxane-A synthase for this protein. Also, there's (according to some Googling) no such thing as a "thromboxane synthase family" or "thromboxane-B synthase", making an apparent subclassification into "subtype A" misleading.   • Mild oppose: Proteins tend to have names that don't make a lot of sense in retrospect. I think it would be better to leave it at the current title even though it seems to be unnecessarily specific. –CWenger (talk) 03:57, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
