Are mayors relevant to city history?
[edit]User Dicklyon deleted names of several mayors from the timeline (here and here), claiming they lack historical signficance. I disagree; mayors are part of San Antonio's history. What do others think? Do mayors belong in this timeline of San Antonio history or not? -- M2545 (talk) 06:36, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
- As with Austin and El Paso and others, if the only thing they're known for is a stint as mayor, they don't belong. They why I selectively removed some. They still appear in the list of mayors of course. Dicklyon (talk) 06:58, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
- Per your suggestion, I have posed the question on the main San Antonio talk page. -- M2545 (talk) 07:11, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
