High temperature

I once read that many years ago Tindouf recorded a shade temperature of 135^ F, which is one of the very highest temperatures ever recorded on the planet.

(in answer to the above, which was unsigned) Here's an article about that temperature record (and others) which dismisses Tindouf's record on the grounds that it's simply not credible given Tindouf's elevation;
