[edit]At least in the current literature, tissue factor is currently used name for thromboplastin. I think that this page should be moved to tissue factor with a redirect from the more historical name, thromboplastin. --Wsloand 15:34, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
I agree to this. Also, there should be more focus on tissue factor as compared to a description of the general coagulation cascade. Paul M.D., 17. January 2006
I would also like to see the addion of the calcium and phospholipid requirements for the formation of the VIIa + TF complex, or as I call it, E-Tenase (I know its not really a Tenase but it does the sam job). Also the localization onto platelet surface. This will help explaing how clotting stays localized to those who have trouble understanding how a non-sentient system that relies on probability could seem so intelligently orchestrated.
Cellular mechanics
[edit]Cellular localization and trafficing. JFW | T@lk 21:37, 5 June 2006 (UTC) I would also like to see that Factor Va does not combine with Xa. It only functions in the prothrombin to thrombin reaction. That must be a mistake in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.188.112.250 (talk) 16:28, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
