[edit]- Mr. Tom Wintringham Guerrilla Tactician Obituary. The Times, Friday, Aug 19, 1949; pg. 7; Issue 51464; col D.
When did he die?
[edit]In the article on George Nathan, commander of the British Battalion for part of the Spanish Civil War it says
"the Brigade lost more than half of their men; 375 out of 600 died; including Tom Wintringham and Christopher Caudwell."
This page however has Tom Tintringham living on through WWII.
Which is correct?
I've also raised this on the George Nathan "TALK" page
