Is the article name appropriate?

[edit]

Is the name of "Torpedo Training Unit" appropriate? Both Lake and Hamlin,J. Royal Air Force flying training and support units since 1912 (2007) say the unit became No. 1 Torpedo Training Unit on 1 January 1943. It was then disbanded then reformed while using the No. 1 TTU name. The article should be named No. 1 Torpedo Training Unit as it was the last unit name used, in common with other related articles such as Flying Boat Training Squadron RAF, No. 236 Operational Conversion Unit RAF, Coastal Command Anti U-Boat Devices School RAF, No. 237 Operational Conversion Unit RAF and No. 228 Operational Conversion Unit RAF Gavbadger (talk) 09:54, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are correct and I misread Lake as reforming as just TTU. I will change the articles around and move this content to No. 1 TTU and replace here (TTU) with a redirect to No. 1 TTU Mikeyp72 (talk) 15:27, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
