quake damage
[edit]Some images to document the quake damage would be good. 76.66.197.17 (talk) 06:29, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
explanation for alternative name Mais Gate
[edit]- major search engines like Kayak call the airport Mais Gate instead of Toussaint Louverture - a redirect has been installed but there's no mention of the origin of "Mais Gate".

- @84.143.188.28: this Google Earth link says that there is a long road called Maïs Gaté along the south edge of the airport area. French "maïs gâté" means "spoiled maize". Best check with a Haitian; it may be a hoax by a member of Google Earth, same as that I once found Hogwarts School marked on Google Earth. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:15, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
Page name
[edit]- Shouldn't the page name rather be Toussaint L'Ouverture International Airport? -- Denis.arnaud (talk) 18:41, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
