Title[edit]

"Transport" meaning public transport (British English) is a very British-specific usage, particularly the omission of the word "public", yet implying public transport only, not transport by taxi/rideshare or in people's own cars. U.S. usage is "transit or "public transportation". I would argue for a page title of "Public transportation in Mexico City" as more appropriate as:

  1. in Spanish the expression is "transporte público" and
  2. Mexico is closer to the U.S., part of North America and The Americas, whereby U.S. usage is preferred over British usage (and Canada having its particular choices).

The category, for example is Category:Public transportation in Mexico

Kudos for breaking this out into its own article. Keizers (talk) 18:16, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe Transportation in Mexico City (like Category:Transportation in Mexico City or Transportation in New York City, which I'll use as the model for this page). (CC) Tbhotch 18:28, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
