Suggest splitting into separate pages for play and film...[edit]

Hi all, "Travelling North" was a successful stage play for David Williamson for eight years prior to the release of the film, and is a well known (and frequently staged) work in his canon. This page presently just concerns the film, although there is a section about the play. I am thinking it might be good to move (rename) the present page content to "Travelling North (film)", introduce a new page "Travelling North (play)", and leave this URL as a disambiguation page. Alternatively - as with e.g. The Removalists - this page could be revamped as an article for the play only, with the film having its own page using content ported from here. Thoughts? OK, I have let this slide for 3 years since writing the above, just wondering if there is an appetite for a separate article for the play alone (of which I have a copy of the text to hand) and if so, how best to handle the issue of respective page titles - again noting that the play is quite well known in its own right, and preceded the film by 8 years...
Also noting that apparently, 127 pages link here at this time; presumably (but have not checked) a significant subset would be for the play rather than the film??Tony 1212 (talk) 04:00, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, now done as largely proposed above: for the film (original article title just "Travelling North") we now use the new location here, i.e. "Travelling North (film)", and I have newly constructed most of the relevant article for the play at the location previously used for this article i.e. "Travelling North", please bear with me until that page is completed.
