Editors' names

Per WP:BLP even innocuous statements that so and so is the editor must be supported by an inline reference to a reliable source. Otherwise the status quo should be retained, even if it itself is unreferenced, if it is longstanding. Alternatively the old stated names could be removed if no references are available. The publication itself could serve as a ref as to its staff. That says othing as to the notabillity of the publication. Edison (talk) 18:46, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
