Include deaths?[edit]

In the article under the Preperations and Impact section, it says that 33 migrants drown after their inflatable boat sank from Hermine (Sourced here). However, the NHC TCR on Hermine (here) states that, "There were no reports of casualties2 associated with Hermine in the Canary Islands." It makes no mention of these deaths anywhere within the TCR. However, it does say that there were no deaths in the Canary Islands, not in general. So should we mention these deaths in the article? RandomInfinity17 (talk) 00:41, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm presently working on contacting the NHC in regards to this to gain clarity. For now it should stay as-is given clear media coverage and attribution. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 01:10, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
From what I was told, the deaths are being attributed to weather ahead of Hermine and not Hermine itself. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 20:24, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
