Other spelling: Cicada (?)[edit]

Hi GW Simulations, thanks for your edits. The reference I used: "Bernhard Hofmann-Wellenhof, Herbert Lichtenegger, Elmar Wasle, "GNSS – global navigation satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo & more", SpringerWienNewYork 2008, p. 5." mentions

"The Russian Tsikada (also written Cicada) system transmits..." [1]

That's why I thought it would be useful to indicate this. By the way, since you can apparently read Russian, you may confirm whether this wikilink may be relevant: ru:Цикада_(навигационная_система) (as mentioned here). I can't confirm this. Thanks again. --Edcolins (talk) 18:59, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've never seen it written as Cicada. Cicada is the meaning of its name, but it is not its name - in the same way that we never call Soyuz "Union". I don't speak Russian, but I know a few words, and that article does look relevant. --GW 09:54, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thanks. I won't add this back. I have added the inter-wikilink meanwhile --Edcolins (talk) 10:36, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
