The page name should have been kept "Tuhchar"
[edit]"Tuhchar" is a far more accurate name than "Tukhchar". In reply to common transliterations, x is not always transliterated as kh. That's simply a convention, and both h and x are also used (notable, in the phrase "idi nahui" during the Snake Island incident). Georgians also typically transliterate the letter simply as an x rather than kh. Leetinkoy (talk) 06:01, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- The letter in question is almost always transliterated as "kh". Additionally, this letter is being transliterated from Russian, so it should follow the conventions for the transliteration of the Russian language. Michael60634 (talk) 08:41, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
- Just because that is the convention does not make it correct. Leetinkoy (talk) 16:33, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
