Disambiguation page

[edit]

From the start of the article, "Note: There have been numerous wars between the Ottoman Turks and the Venetians until the last Turkish-Venetian War of 1714-1718. This article is about the Turkish-Venetian Wars of 1499-1503."

That's a particularly useless header, what are all those other wars? I'd make a disambig page myself, but I don't have the slightly clue what the various wars are, beyond a few listed in the same categories, much less what pages exist. I also don't know what the disambig page should be called -- Ottoman-Venetian War, Turkish-Venetian War, Ottoman-Italian War, Turkish-Italian War, etc. -Bbik 05:39, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplication

[edit]

The three articles Battle of Zonchio, Kemal Reis, and Ottoman-Venetian Wars (1499-1503) share a lot of text verbatim. This isn't good -- the three articles should cover the battle, the general, and the wars in general, with minimal overlap and appropriate cross-references. --Macrakis 19:38, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
