My first edit ever, and I have no idea how this goes, but the Blind Guardian song "Turn the Page" is definitely not a cover of the Bob Seger song. I just took out that part.

Release Date?

[edit]

Intro paragraph says that the song was "originally recorded...in 1971" but the section titled "Inspiration" says that "Seger wrote it in 1972 while touring with..." So, which is correct?

Bob Seger vs. Metallica

[edit]

Being that this is originally a Bob Seger song, shouldn't Metallica's cover be moved to a different page or given a subsection? This particularly applies to the info box on the right -- all information given is about the Metallica version, not Seger's original or his live performances.

Nobody's commented in 2+ weeks, so I've gone ahead and made these changes.

Dose Seger play the opening sax part himself or who played that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.135.124.161 (talk) 22:41, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism in the Covers Section

[edit]

The covers section claims "Turn the Page" (Bob Seger song) was covered more recently [by] the Wiggles when playing at a hotel in Green Pigeon near Kyogle." No, I don't think so. 203.13.3.80 (talk) 05:48, 20 May 2011 Eligius (talk) 05:50, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
