The picture shown on this page is of a SR-Design 2EPB of class 416/1. The BR-built Tyneside 2-car electrics became class 416/2 at Tops; they were to the BR Mark I design, and did not look like the train shown in the picture. BudgieJane (talk) 19:31, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I am sorry, but I have removed the picture of the Southern Region train from this page. As I said above, these trains (BR class 416/1) did not run on Tyneside, and it is confusing to include a picture of them. What did run there was a version of BR class 416/2, which looks completely different (it is described in the text of the article). If a picture is to be added it should be a picture of one of the units running on Tyneside. BudgieJane (talk) 15:01, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
