New to the article, let me ask: is there a good reason to use USA-247 as the primary title, instead of the more famous NROL-39? --HectorMoffet (talk) 15:04, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
This is an article about the satellite, not its launch. NROL-39 was the designation of the launch, not the satellite. Both names are used to refer to this mission, and that is reflected in the lead, but USA-247 is the "correct" name for the satellite itself. --W.D.Graham 18:46, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
