[edit]For a featured article this page has an extreme lack of discussion.. i.e. none, if there is an archive, someone please link it?
- There is none. JHMM13(Disc) 21:00, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- How did an article become an FA without any dicussion? just curious 70.177.12.108 21:33, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the FAC process does not take that into account when it decides to promote an article. I wrote a featured article that had little to no meaningful discussion but was at featured quality because I chose to bring it there. It is possible that this article is not worthy of being a featured article, however, and if you feel that way, I suggest signing up a user account and bring the issue up with the fine folks over at featured article review. I personally agree with you that this article seems a bit weak in the analysis area and appears to simply be a summary. However, you might do well to consult the debate that took place in this article's FAC for any issues brought up then. It should be noted that FA standards were significantly lower in April of 2006, so you might be very well justified in proposing the delisting of this article. JHMM13(Disc) 03:54, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Merger Proposal
[edit]- A merger proposal was put up way back in 2009, I currently oppose a merger as it seems this article has enough content and is a former featured article. If there is no opposition I will remove the tags, please provide your opinions. Gsingh (talk) 19:27, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
