Fleet problems?

[edit]

What on Earth are "fleet problems?" Is this a poorly worded reference to "Excercises?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Atkindave (talkcontribs)

Not mentioned.

I find it interesting that nothing is mentioned in the article that the USS Louisville (CA 28) arrives at New York on January 22, 1941 with $148,342.212.55 in British gold brought from Simonstown, South Africa, to be deposited in American banks. This isCite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). per the U.S. Navy News Service. I assume the dollar amount mentioned is $148 million plus, though the use of periods rather than commas is interesting to say the least.2602:252:D70:9C80:C1E3:E705:BD46:2C25 (talk) 21:05, 23 January 2015 (UTC) Larry Moran.[reply]
