[edit]I tried to create a page about Uncle John Scruggs. I am a banjo player, and I collect old recordings of early American folk music. I thought his musical contribution was worthy of my effort to summarize it here. Please check out the Uncle John Scruggs video on youtube. I simply researched the internet, and compiled as much useful information as possible, very little was written about him. Websites I used were as follows, I believe them to be accurate:
http://birthplaceofcountrymusic.org/node/50
http://bavatuesdays.com/uncle-john-scruggs/
It would be nice to display the mural "All in the Family" in the article, hope we can
- Very interesting, but I can't find any information abouth him on neither http://birthplaceofcountrymusic.org/node/50 nor by search "Uncle John Scruggs", "John Scruggs", "John H. Scruggs" on http://birthplaceofcountrymusic.org/.

[edit]Hey, you might want to check out WP:CREATE for tips on how to create your first article, they'll be helpful! I've added an "under construction" tag so nobody messes with the article for a little bit. Hope this helps! Frmatt (talk) 03:53, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
