If anyone feel like working a bit more on this I wouldn't exactly mind it.
Tradition states that Harald unified Norway, however the proof for this seems to be more limited from what I understand.
However several wiki pages says that Harald unified norway without mentioning any dispute.
One of those pages is the petty kingdoms article.
Anyway, what I'm hoping for is that someone can actually work properly on this, finding what evidences both camps are using and making some sense of all of this and perhaps clean up some of the other articles mentioning Harald.
