Delaware: "Border State"?

All the sources I can find list Delaware as one of the border states. (A few examples: Dictionary entries, articles from the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress.) Probably the most salient point, it was a state where slavery was still legal which nonetheless did not secede. 139.76.64.67 (talk) 22:12, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

There is no mention of the mason-dixie line in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.184.100.30 (talk) 06:17, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

United States 1860-1870.gif

Unless the image: <United States 1860-1870.gif> is fixed soon to remove POV claim that South reverted to territorial satus, I will be removing it from this article --JimWae (talk) 08:07, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

You might have more luck getting this fixed, rather than removing it entirely, by asking the author of the map directly - that would be User talk:Roke. Kmusser (talk) 13:22, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

State Name in the American Civil War

There is a very nice table with articles by state related to the Civil War, which should be included on this page. I do not know how to make that happen. See Connecticut in the American Civil War for an example of the table.GFAAG (talk) 19:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Which States Were the Union States???

I am doing a project on the Union States. I was wondering which states were excatly the union states. ~Haiden~

I provided a list of them, although the opening paragraph states 23, that number seems valid only for a period of the war. I'm also not sure why Kansas gets special mention for entering the Union late. Others did too. -R. fiend 16:23, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
pretty much every state that didnt join the confedracy was "union" though american is a better term for it, as the confedaracy was states rebeling vs states not rebelling. kansa gets speial mention casue it tryed to say "neutral" then the confedarates moved in and they joined the union. 69.115.204.217 (talk) 23:26, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
