"Weasel words, and "Peacock words," and hopefully their corrections.
I feel somewhat responsible for those numerous accusations, even though my comment that received a "weasel word" tag was written over 2 years ago (but it was still here today!) Somehow, I think I set a negative tone for that section of the article (basically, "USD just takes money from people, especially students.")
It seems like that tone resonated with a lot of people, probably other students, and now we had "Weasel Words" all over the place. Well now, I'm a little older, a little wiser (not much), and a little more in control of my student loans, and I tried to fix the tone. Anyone out there feel free to continue improving this article.

Fair use rationale for Image:USD Logo.gif
- Image:USD Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- This problem has been fixed. I took care of it since the author seems to have neglected to do so.

Notable alumni
Please note that all entries in the Notable alumni section must be referenced per WP:WPSCH/AG#Alumni - All unreferenced entries, of which there are many at this time, will be removed in the near future. Please take some time and provide references to support that the person actually attended the school and are notable in some way. Dbiel (Talk) 03:18, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Regarding the advertisement flag.
First off, I'm new to Wikipedia. I was looking over this article, as this is my school's page. I can't believe I've never considered looking at my school's Wikipedia page before. I see the flags at the top though. I haven't been on Wikipedia long enough to really understand how flags work and the process of removing them, but the advertisement flag is questionable in my opinion. How is the article supposed to state the different aspects that the school has offers if this is indicated as an advertising tactic. I don't even know where to start in re-writing the page without some kind of guide.
Just my two-sense.
Let me know what you think guys. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TRekKerSandlia (talk • contribs) 16:12, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
