Author

Why would you want to deauthor me, seen as how I wrote most of it and my oh so shocking grammar! --Djkinsella 23:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Suitly emphazi, please. --Darkfred Talk to me 23:24, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

What is not to understand? I added to the article in depth a few months ago, but I'm no longer listed on the history page; does this mean I was removed as an author? If so, why? What an odd thing to do.--Djkinsella 22:36, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Trust me, you are still on the history page. Noone has removed you, in fact it is nearly impossible to remove a block of history. Only one or two people are authorized to do it. One or two people have complained about your grammar, but this is no problem, it was fixed quickly by a native english speaker. In fact if you would like help with grammar send me a message and I can proof read for you. --Darkfred Talk to me 23:33, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Were you perhaps accidentally checking the history of this discussion page, rather than the history of the main article page. Its a mistake I've made several times in the past and can be confusing. -- Solipsist 05:52, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Ah never mind! Perhaps I was, I just thought I'd done something really wrong and was removed because of it! One thing that irritates me at the moment with this is this "Persace" thing, I've never heard of it, someone keeps adding it. A Google search produces no evidence of validity. Thank you both for clarifying :-)--Djkinsella 13:26, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
The Persace thing appears to be completely invented bullshit from what I have researched. Even if it was true it wouldn't merit inclusion. Just because I collect cards doesn't mean i should be included in the card article. --Darkfred Talk to me 16:00, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Haha very true. Thank you again. Djkinsella 22:40, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

I find your continual dismissals of the Persace issue very narrow minded. Simply because neither of you are aware of the Persace movement that does not mean that it doesn’t exist. Though admittedly you've gone through the foolproof avenue of Google to check its validity, because if something isn't on Google, then by default it doesn't exist. Persace is a cultural movement, spawned from one individual's horrific taste in Versace clothing. The term is widely recognised as slang for anything negative and I am shocked and annoyed that it is constantly being edited off this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.9.72.247 (talkcontribs)

Continue being shocked. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Djkinsella (talkcontribs)

Ha-ha aren't you funny, still we'll see who's laughing at the end of the day, there is a team of people behind the Persace revolution. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.9.72.247 (talkcontribs)

Currently, I am. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Djkinsella (talkcontribs)

Tell me is it satisfying editing an online encyclopedia with no monetary benefits? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.9.72.247 (talkcontribs)

Yep :-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Djkinsella (talkcontribs)

Fair use rationale for Image:Versace.png

Image:Versace.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:Tuki Brando.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:Tuki Brando.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
