I just listened to a different version of the first episode, Howard Duff played the lead role of Phil Carney (Duff also played Sam Spade). I can find nothing on this version, I assume it came before the Elliot Lewis version though Cathy Lewis co-starred in this episode with Duff. What's the story? Did the Duff version die on the vine to be replaced by the Lewis version. The Duff version is was an "audition" episode. Aside from "Sam Spade" he also had a film career so perhaps he was otherwise busy by the time the Scarlet Queen was greenlit, five months later.--23.119.204.117 (talk) 09:37, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Few personnel details[edit]

How is it that the failed followup show has more details in this article that than the subject show of the article?--23.119.204.117 (talk) 09:39, 20 February 2017 (UTC) ++++ The information on the Black Parrot pilot show was all in one place, so it was easy to collect. The information on the Scarlet Queen episodes is all over the place, and of varying quality. Since you wrote this I have collected a great deal more good information on the personnel of the Scarlet Queen episodes.[reply]
