Factual Error
[edit]There is an error in the headline. The correct header must be "Landkreis Vulkaneifel", as the Vulkaneifel region is not covering the former district of Daun only. It is also covering the areas of the municipalities of Manderscheid, Ulmen, Adenau, Brohltal, Vordereifel, Mendig, and Pellenz. The Vulkaneifel is covering an area which goes to from the Rhein between Koblenz, and Andernach to the region around Manderscheid. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.97.126.216 (talk) 07:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC).
Geography
[edit]A minor correction: The volcanic formations called Maar in Germany are the result of an explosion caused by groundwater coming into contact with hot lava or magma. A Caldera, OTOH, is a cauldron-like volcanic feature usually formed by the collapse of a depleted magma cavern following a volcanic eruption.--85.181.186.1 (talk) 00:44, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
