Thanks

Just gotta say thanks to Magicalboy for his contributions to this article, and most notably for the screens. Your help is much appreciated - keep on the good work.T-borg 20:58, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Request for future editors

This article is in serious need of knowledgeable editors who more than just the fancruft currently maintaining this entry. I would be doing myself, but I did not watch more than the first five episodes that were broadcast as part of saturday morning ABC Kids in early 2005, I think. With that in mind, I request that future editors focus on the following:

  • The current episode listing/synopsis need to be rewritten in a encyclopedic manner with information about major events that contribute to the series. Put up a "spoiler" warning and small synopsis of what that episode was about.
  • The character chart table needs to be better explained or removed. I am still trying to make sense of it.
  • The Blooper and Difference between comic and animation sections need to be elaborated so differences between both mediums is explained clearly. As it stands now, some of the entries of seem incomplete.

--Kenn Caesius 01:13, 28 June 2006 (UTC) Do we really need the minor characters?

Stub

I think we should point out what makes this article a television and animation stub, and then work on that. Any suggestions?T-borg 15:50, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Hellooo? I didn't post this for you not to answer!;)T-borg 18:57, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
I have to disagree; considering the type and amount of information already present, this article is hardly a stub in need of expansion.--Kenn Caesius 20:41, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

If you go over the history, you'll see that this message was from the time the article was classified as a stub. I only asked people why it is, so it can be fixed.T-borg 21:07, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

P is for and Q is for

Sourses have not been sited, so I'll remove the added info. Sorry, but I checked on TV.com and they haven't posted any new episodes after L is for Loser.T-borg 08:53, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Episode summaries

I really don't think that they should be copied straight from TV.com. It isn't encyclopedic at all. The plot should be summarised in it's own section, and the episode summaries- deleted. After all, Wikipedia is not a TV guide. T-borg 10:38, 9 August 2006 (UTC) PS: Note the similar situation on the article about A.T.O.M..

I have the same impression as well and it will only be a matter of time before someone pulls "copyright violation" issues. How do you suppose we can address this? Off the top of my head, we have two options: an overall season synopsis like the one used in the Winx Club article or (if we can really find the time) a separate article like episode listing like South Park.--Kenn Caesius 19:22, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
The overall season synopsis sounds to me like the best option, but I think we should take a vote on it. Do you think it might make the article a bit too big?T-borg 21:40, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Not at all. I believe that the overall story of each season can fit into what, one, two, paragraphs? --Kenn Caesius 23:44, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

If you say so, will something like this do:

Plot

  • Season 1:
  • Season 2:

T-borg 12:19, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Two Things

I have two questions. In the cast guide, it says Toby Linz as Christopher. WHO THE HECK IS CHRISTOPHER? And also, has Frost the Hunter appeared in any episodes in season 1?

Tyar 21:21, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Christopher is Irma's little brother. DUH!

No, because Cesar Flores voices Chris Lair, not Toby Linz. It has to be a different guy!

Okay here is the deal. Toby Linz was originally to voice Chris but got replaced by Cesar Flores. Chris appears in four episodes (for now). Frost the Hunter appeared in 2 episodes (Ambush at Torus Filney and Framed) in season one and appeared in the first half of season two. 24.167.169.163 02:48, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

TVRage

I seriously think we should remove the link to tvrage.com. The episodes summaries there are nonsensical, the information inexistent and the forum has been inactive since June, none of which makes it a valuable guide to link to. Witchinsider 07:54, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Censorship

Was this show censored/cut in any noticable ways for the US market?

--perfectblue 17:37, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

The censoring I was referring to when I first created that passage was from comparing transformation sequence from european comic version to the current television series. In the european comic, the transformation sequence (from teen girls to "w.i.t.c.h.") was much more suggestive of nudity by focusing more on everything below the neck and the feminine physique.--Kenn Caesius 18:02, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
So, there is nothing in the European TV version that was cut or edited in the US TV version?

--perfectblue 14:30, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

To the best of my knowledge, that was only thing edited.--Kenn Caesius 23:22, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually, two clips of It Begins were edited for the US market.

Which parts? and were they left in for UK/Canadia versions?

When the girls are in the gym and Irma says Uriah should slither back into the water, water shoots from the fountain and hits Uriah in the face. And when the girls are in the restaurant, Irma screams "Keep all that noise down!" Then, the others look at her and she says "I was being ironic!" - Frozen Flower

Characters

Hey, here's a thought. How about we just skip the characters section. All the needed info on them is already on the page about the comic book. Here we should just point out differences in the original characters and their TV series counterparts, and list any exclusive characters introduced. What do you think?T-borg 20:00, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

I am not at all sure. By skipping are you suggesting that editors consider removing the section entirely? if that is the case, it is a bit too drastic. I would like to suggest reducing, editing, and moving content from the current entries to their respective articles.--Kenn Caesius 22:40, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, now that I think about it, there are already some articles about W.I.T.C.H. characters, so I guess the best thing would be to concentrate on those. On a side note, didn't you read the whole message? I did suggest we point out differences between the original characters and their TV series counterparts and also list any exclusive characters introduced. But It's partially my fault, should have been more specific.T-borg 10:09, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
In my haste to reply, I will have to admit that I might glossed over your comment and I must apologize for my faux pas. I like your plan and I suggest you go through with it.--Kenn Caesius 23:06, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

I just think that it is terrible that they are taking it off of ABC Family. Some cable's don't offer Toon Disney. I am going to miss Saturday and Sunday mornings.

(

What I say is to just have the characters section blank on this page and have a link to the new pages being created: Shetfield Institute Related Characters and Meridian Related Characters. However, T-borg and I are trying our best to finish up Shetfield, but it will take awhile. PLUS SOMEONE ERASED WHAT I TYPED UNDER URIAH DUNN! In the meantime, he will just have to leave what we have, although it is irritating to see your hard work being erased by someone. Tyar 22:31, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

That's the price we pay for partisipating in "the Free Encyclopedia":). But as this is no place for such discussions, this is T-borg, signing out.T-borg 07:17, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

It's Sheffield, not Shetfield. This needs to be corrected. Witchinsider 12:44, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

It has been corrected. Tyar 20:43, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Knights of Destruction

Is it possible that the Knights of Destruction are a reference to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? Or is it just speculation? T-borg 10:48, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Editting gone awry?

First off I really like tha progression this article: detailed and concise. However, there is one glaring problem: what is the w.i.t.c.h. animated series about? A non-spoiler plot or synopsis of the two seasons would be nice would really enhance the article.--Kenn Caesius 20:58, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Question

Can't we update the article with accordance to this? May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 15:31, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Separate episode articles

Would it be acceptable if separate episode articles were created, like it was done with Ben 10? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 14:34, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

So long as they contained more than just the episode name and a TVtomb 2 line summary.
perfectblue 14:42, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Any preferences about the articles' names, like "Episode name (W.I.T.C.H. episode)"? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 14:51, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, personally, I think that it would be best to have them all on a single page, or 1 page for each season. An appropriate name would be "List of WITCH episodes" or "List of WITCH episodes (Seasion 1)", as we don't really need an essay summary, just a start middle and end paragraph.

perfectblue 18:22, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

PLEASE read WP:EPISODE first. Episode articles can't be created until season articles are written. The season article should not be created until this main article is cleaned up and it needs some work. Cheers. L0b0t 22:07, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
It's still a future possibility though, so it's good to make plans now rather than one person rushing in unilaterally.
FYI, I know that it's not your fault, but there are so many wiki guideline sheets like WP:Episode out there, but there actually finding them is a pain especialy for newcommers who don't know that they are there.
perfectblue 08:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Too many character pages

In addition to the individual pages for the main characters, there are three pages with various descriptions of the heroes and villians on them, some are rather mess or patchy, and all are out of step with one another.

Unless somebody comes up with a real big reason not to do it, I'm going to merge all of these pages (except the ones for individual characers) together into a single page. This includes removing most of the character details from the main Witch page.

perfectblue 11:55, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Something along the lines of List_of_W.I.T.C.H._Characters (TV_Show), perhaps? May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 12:05, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

That's the one that I'm updating right now. I was thinking that maybe ALL the characters should be there. At the moment there are characters on two other pages as well.

perfectblue 12:24, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Z is for Zenith

OK, I've seen the thread on TV.com, but still, wasn't there a rule about referencing forums? May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 18:58, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Correct Spelling?

Is it Kandrakar or Candracar?

The Disney website [[1] uses a double C, but loads of other sites use the double K spelling.

perfectblue 09:47, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Candracar is what is used in America. Kandrakar is used in Italy and the Philippines. --Amibite 18:16, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

In that case, I vote that we maintain the original spelling.

perfectblue 19:56, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Episode name

What was the name of the episode where Haylin does the school play about the dragons?

perfectblue 13:17, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

"Ambush at Torus Filney". --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 15:04, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the W.I.T.C.H. ! i love it!

Fifth Heart

What was the name of the holder of the fifth magical heart, the big rock creature that Nerissa tried to seduce at the end of season 2?

perfectblue 17:19, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Not exactly sure if he even had a name, but I'm a bit bussy these days. You can look it up on YouTube, they've got all of the episodes (I believe the episode in question was "V is for Victory"). --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 21:23, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

CHYKN

Do we honestly have to use C.H.Y.K.N.? It's not an official name. Hay Lin only suggested it... Øřêōş 04:04, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

It's used several times during season 2 and became the in universe name used for them. Plus the alternative is "The old guardians" or something similar, which is longer and less succinct.
perfectblue 09:07, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

It has not been used in the comic book, so we should probably not refer to the former Guardians as CHYKN when speaking about the comic book. Øřêōş 12:04, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Article called 'The Graudians Powers'

I been thinking that we could make a page for the graudians powers and just list the powers they have on the main page. PS3 wins 18:12, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

I think that it would be hit be an AFD on the grounds of notability within about 5 minutes. The correct place for the guardian's powers is on their individual profile pages. We need to cut the power section on the main page down to basically "Taranee Cook: Fire, Telepathy " and so on, and use the profile pages for all the details.
perfectblue 19:17, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
After reading the pivorse one it is the best place for the powers to be on the profile page. PS3 wins 20:59, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Guardians of what?

During Season 1 W.I.T.C.H. were the Guardians of the Veil, but in Season 2, didn't the Oracle say they were now the Guardians of the Infinite Dimensions? May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 17:52, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes the gaurdians of the veil became the gaurdians of the infinite dimensions. Harry Diserens 15:52, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Heart of Kandrakar in flashback of K is for Knowledge

is it just me or did they make a mistake when they did the episode k is for knowledge, because i was looking at the episode 2day nd when the oracle is going on about when nerissa got consumed by the power of the heart and had 2 giv it 2 cassidy, the jewel that he actually gives to cassidy is the heart of meridian made by nerissa, not the heart of kandrakar? is it a mistake or is there something there that i have missed?

Probably it's a mistake. (great mistake by the way) Blunk 15:45, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Heart Section

I think that it will be better if the names and powers of the hearts etc are on a seperate page, away from the items page, ill probably start making one soon before i remove the parts from the main page

172.209.57.146 23:07, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Why? According to you the Hearts are not special items? Blunk 23:19, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
But they're a completely different type of item, more important, nd that they shud b treated like that 172.209.57.146 23:45, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
And what are you going to do, exactly? Blunk 09:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Create a page that includes all of the hearts (kandrakar, zamballa, meridian and earth) and their powers, with links to their owners, so that they can be more easily compared etc 172.209.57.146 11:51, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
A totally new page or just a new section in the TV series article? Blunk 12:19, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
either, altho i think it would be easier to have it as a new page as it would be easier to manage them both, and that they're for both the comic book version and the animated series, hav a brand new page with links to it in both, rather than hav it in one without it in other, or a link that leads to animated version if u get wat i mean. 172.209.57.146 14:36, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Sorry but I don't clearly see what you say. Blunk 16:33, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

I mean change it so that instead of listing the hearts nd their powers etc on the main page, put it under a new page with just a link to that new page it would also mean that the information wouldnt need to be written twice, nd could just have the link on both, clearing up space 172.209.57.146 17:00, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

I begin to see it now, but there's only one Heart on the main page the Heart of Zamballa or maybe two, the Seal of Nerissa is the second one (but it is two Hearts in one). But the Hearts of Kandrakar and Meridian have their own pages because they are too long. So what are you going to do with this two? Blunk 17:23, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Not necesarily put their role in the series, put a link onto the main page, but put their powers etc on (with the powers in the form of a list - makes it easier to look at, cud change others into it like i did with phobos') cos it makes it easier to compare the abilities of them 172.209.57.146 18:15, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

So you want to make a new page which includes the powers and abilities of the Hearts, for example with this title: Powers of the Hearts (W.I.T.C.H.) or The Hearts' powers (W.I.T.C.H.). And you want to make a list on that page like this:

The Heart of Kandrakar

  • power one
  • power two
  • power three
  • etc

The Heart of Meridian

  • power one
  • power two
  • power three
  • etc

The Heart of Zamballa

  • etc

The Heart of Earth

  • etc

Am I right? Blunk 18:29, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

yeah thats what im thinking of, with a small bio (especially with zamballa as there isnt that much information on it anyway and not much point leaving three lines on the main page) and put links to where more information can be found on them (for example put a link with heart of earth to Lillian Hale, and Heart Of Meridian to Elyon Brown). 172.209.57.146 20:49, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

I have quickly made what i was thinking of, and it can be seen at The Hearts (W.I.T.C.H.). If you think you can improve it do so

Problems

We have some really big problems here. We have to straighten out what fictional element's notable, and what's not and start cleaning things up. I don't really see a need to list characters/episodes here also, they have their own articles, after all. We have no references, and I mean from reliable secondary sources, as primary won't be hard to find. The trivia section should be fact checked, and the items that should remain should be integrated into the main body. I'm not sure if the list of broadcasters qualifies as an indiscriminate collection of information, though. We should probably integrate the cast list into this article, because, at least I don't see that being done anywhere, and I don't see a reason for an exception here. Lastly, we don't need two images, both depicting the Guardians. The one showing them in Guardian form is enough, I think, to illustrate their different appearance from the comic books, and it would be better off on the page for the differences between the two. Well, those are my observations, as flawed as they may be. What do you think? —May the Edit be with you, always. (T|C) 16:58, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm not very knowledgeable about the subject, I just re-posted the line exactly as it was in the article. NeonDaylight 04:24, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
At least in the comic, and at least in Swedish and Italian, it's spelt "Kandrakar" with "K" everywhere and no "C" anywhere. (Stefan2 05:37, 14 October 2006 (UTC))

In my comics it's Kandrakar.Harry Diserens 15:46, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

It seems FOX are meeting on a third season for W.I.T.C.H on 2009. So perhaps all hopes are not lost yet.(mianghuei (talk) 15:56, 31 December 2008 (UTC))

Theme song

does anyone know who sings the U.S theme song to W.I.T.C.H?

I don't know, but I remember Fox Box (or whatever they are called now) had the band playing the song one Saturday, around when they first got the series.

Marion Raven, the former M2M member, sang the U.S theme song, named "we are W.I.T.C.H." (mianghuei (talk) 07:11, 10 January 2009 (UTC))

The Guardians' Powers and Abilities

Each Guardian's powers and abilities are fueled by Kandrakar, transmitted to the Heart via the Aurameres (the orbicular physical representations of the Guardians' powers and abilities). The Aurameres grant the same powers to each of their guardians; for instance, any powers and abilities held by Irma would also have been possessed by Cassidy.

When the Guardians transform, they change form and grow wings, which help them fly through the air. Using the Heart of Kandrakar, a Guardian can create an Astral Drop, a duplicate of herself, when the words "Spord Lartsa" (Astral Drops spelt backwards) are said. Also the Guardians can combine their powers and abilities together and create a concentrated beam of mystical magical bright pink-colored glowing energy as seen in the first episode of the series. In the second season since the removal the Veil, the Guardians can travel across other worlds and planets by opening whitish-blue oval-shaped portals called folding, with the aid of the Heart of Candracar.

In order to travel to another place in the same world, each Guardian can teletransport. Teletransporting is a difficult power and ability to learn and one can materialize into another solid object if not careful enough. Also if a Guardian teletransports while not connected to an Auramere or a Heart than they will drain their life force which will greatly weaken them enormously.

The Guardians can also become one with their dragon (or in Will's case, the nymph Xin Jing) and literally become one with their element all the while vastly significantly strengthening and increasing all of their powers and abilities to innumerable uncontrollable levels; which makes them one thousand times stronger and one thousand times more powerful than if they had multiple Hearts. However this is risky and rather dangerous because it costs them their humanity (both their human form and the memory of their human life) and they could be easily controlled and enthralled.

Also, it has been shown that if a Guardian uses her elemental powers and abilities and is not connected to an Auramere, it will drain their life force which will weaken them enormously. This may be why Nerissa aged so much faster than the rest of C.H.Y.K.N..

A Guardian can also become a Quinto-Guardian. A Quinto-Guardian has all of the powers and abilities over all five elements: Water, Fire, Earth,Air and Quintessence including the individual powers/abilities. A Quinto-Guardian can also again the amazing power and ability to summon ice. The only known Quinto-Guardians are Cornelia (granted briefly by the Aurameres) and Nerissa (by using her Seal).

NPOV

There is a neutrality warning on this article, but not much in the talk section to go on. Could somebody put in a specific cleanup or NPOV request saying what needs chaning?

What does Will say after "Guardians Unite"? Each of them says what element they have control over but not Will - what does she say?

Will says 'Heart'

perfectblue 15:44, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

For the first season, I think that she says "Birth"

Not Birth, Earth I checked by putting the subtitles on

In Season 1, Will says "The Heart". Later in Season 2, Will says "Quintessence". This is for the English version of the series.

season 3

a while ago it had that season 3 was pending a decision from disney, have they come to a decision? if so it should be noted on the page, or that it is still pending a decision —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.112.155 (talk) 13:37, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Unfortunately, they have decided to cancel the show. There's an online petition to help save the show. I'd put a link here, but Wikipedia says it's spam. (Go figure!) Should we try to put this petition link in the article? --Freespirit1981 (talk) 01:34, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

That would be the same as putting it here. An encyclopedia's no place for petitions. —T-borg (T | C) 17:55, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok. But, if the show has been cancelled, we need to at least put that information in the article, right?--Freespirit1981 (talk) 14:56, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

By all means, be my guest. This is a wiki, afterall. :) —T-borg (T | C) 15:03, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Rumours have surfaced that FOX is planning to buy rights to season 3 of the show.(mianghuei (talk) 13:51, 14 March 2009 (UTC))

A lot of people say that complaints and critism is what makes a huge fan. But when I like a show, I just enjoy it. If everyone was like that, a lot of shows wouldn't have cancelled. Disliking a certain character is normal, as we all dislike someone in our real life and they get on our nerves, but some fans think they need to criticize a show. Or they criticize how they do a season, as if they're watching the show to view what they want and like to see. So stupid! 50.26.89.200 (talk) 05:31, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Hint

Season one and Season two are copied from http://www.tv.com/w.i.t.c.h./show/29931/episode_listings.html. That's why they look this way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by T-borg (talkcontribs) 09:06, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Comic vs. Series

I have two problems with the Comic vs. Series section.

  • The name of Phobos is mentioned in the first episode.

This isn't a real difference because the comic doesn't have episodes. You could say that in the series it is revelaed early, and in the comic it's revealed later, but right now, there is no comparison.

  • In season one, Will's powers were super-strength and the ability to blind her enemies (for a short time) by releasing a bright pink light from the heart. Though this will change in season two when she will get the power to talk to appliances and the power to release absolute energy, a lightning-like attack.

This has no comparison to the comic in it. If a trivia section was made, this would fit in it, unless a comparison to the comic is made though, it is in the wrong section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.91.155.84 (talk) 15:52, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Clean Up

Hey, I'm trying to clean this article up a bit. One of the problems was that it was clogged with useless information (did we really need a HUGE article on the difference between this and the comic?).

Anyway, will try and get it up to speed soon by splitting the detailed info up into more articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xtremesage (talkcontribs) 05:08, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Mess ?

Hi, Someone just got in and edited major external links as the 3 ones redirecting to each different version of opening I cleaned a month ago, and apparently replaced with pirated content (tv rips of episodes). Anyone got backup so we can remove and put older version in a click ? Thanx. Onickz, Witch crew — Preceding unsigned comment added by Onickz (talkcontribs) 19:13, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

The guardians

The Guardians of Kandrakar are a group of magical warriors chosen to protect Kandrakar, the center of the universe. Each Guardian rules over one the basic natural elements of Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. The leader rules over Energy or Quintessence, and controls the Heart of Kandrakar, the magical pendant that allows the Guardians to transform into their superhero alter egos by channeling the power of the Aurameres.

In the first season of the animated series, the Guardians were named the Guardians of the Veil. Later in the second season, they were referred to as the Guardians of the Infinite Dimensions. We can create a article on the guardians?

For example we can writhe:

W.I.T.C.H. is a fictional group in the W.I.T.C.H. comic book and animated series. They were chosen as the new Guardians of the Kandrakar, to protect Earth from the threat of Prince Phobos in Meridian. W.I.T.C.H. consists of five teenage girls who are chosen to be the new Guardians of Kandrakar, protectors of the center of the universe from people and creatures who wish to cause harm to it. For this purpose, they have been given powers over the five elements. The new guardians are Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin, whose initials form the title acronym W.I.T.C.H. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.40.194.84 (talk) 19:41, 21 March 2012‎ (UTC)

CHYKN

C.H.Y.K.N. is a fictional group in the W.I.T.C.H. comic book and animated series, who were chosen to be the Guardians of Kandrakar. They were chosen to protect the world of Meridian about 40 years prior to the present date in the series. When Nerissa returned, during Season 2 of the animated series, she used the emotions and desires that formed chinks in the souls' armor to gain control of their minds. Only Yan Lin, whom she imprisoned in the Heart of Meridian, was able to resist.

In the second half of Season 2, Nerissa destroyed her own Knights of Destruction and used the powers that she gave them to restore herself and the other members C.H.Y.K.N. to their original Guardian forms. After the current Guardians broke her control over them, she absorbed the rest of the old Guardians into the Seal of Nerissa, thus gaining access to all of their elemental powers. After Nerissa was trapped inside Weira's jewel, they escaped, along with Elyon and Yan Lin. In the comic book, the group is not referred to as C.H.Y.K.N. but simply by the group member's first names. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.40.194.84 (talk) 19:41, 21 March 2012‎ (UTC)
