Acronyms[edit]

Putting periods after each letter in an acronym like "F.C.C." is a fussy old style that isn't used in Wikipedia. See WP:ACRONYM: "Modern style is to use a full stop (period) after a shortening but no full stops with an acronym." There are a few excpetions, like "U.S." for "United Staets". The table on that page specifically mentions "FM", and not "F.M." Ground Zero | t 16:53, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
