WXCR

[edit]

Hello, a user posted some historical information about the Florida WXCR (now WYUU) on the West Virginia WXCR page. There isn't any crossover between the two stations I can see and I don't want to throw the information out as it is sourced (4 source, in fact!). So, I'm handing it back to you all and hopefully you can add it back in to the WYUU article. Personally, I would, but I am trying to get over one helluva flu bug. Anyway, here's what was posted in it's entirety. Note: I intentionally broke all of the reflinks, but I have included a diff to the West Virginia WXCR page that has them fully intact.

An earlier classical music station using these call letters, initially licensed to Safety Harbor, Florida, in the early 1980s and broadcasting on 92.5 kHz, later moved to Seminole, Florida, in the 1990s before eventually going dark. 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Hopefully you all can add all these sources back into the WYUU article with the information included within them. I give them a once-over for crossover data with the West Virginia WXCR and there looks to be some good information, but I'll leave that up to you all to decide (Virginia, West Virginia, and parts of Maryland and Pennsylvania are my "coverage area"). Take Care...NeutralhomerTalk • 23:05 on December 28, 2019 (UTC)
