Merge with Central Switzerland
[edit]Strong oppose. Waldstaette are a precise historical entity. Now they lie in Central Switzerland, but historically they are different from Glarus or Zug, other central cantons. Elvetico 11:09, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Dubious
[edit]I found a citation for "Four Forest Cantons," so I am removing the discussion of this topic here from various marginal comments in the article:
- This article needs clarification (or open discussion) on different definitions of Vierwaldstätte. (from cleanup banner)
- Not rather counting Obwalden and Nidwalden as two? (from HTML comment following "Canton of Lucerne" in the discussion of Vierwaldstättersee; the comment was accompanied by a "dubious" sticker—{{Dubious}})
