Comics Code Authority
[edit]I'd have figured war comics to fare badly when the Comics Code created, but looking at that article, it doesn't appear to be the case, but that the hearings were rather directed at the horror and crime comics. I'd suppose war is just as gritty as crime, though. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 19:45, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm, it seems that the war comics boom already had ended when the senate hearings started to get rolling, and Kurtzman's comics had gotten cancelled. Kurtzman's war comics are clearly gritty, however, and certainly not meant for children. Apparently Kurtzman executed meticulous research before writing them. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 14:06, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
