Merge

merge wavelet and wavelet transform? pretty related... - Omegatron 20:18, Sep 29, 2004 (UTC)

Please see also my proposal from long ago on the discussion page of wavelet. The two should remain separate, wavelet moved to wavelet anaysis and becoming a popular science overview, wavelet transform becoming a hard math overview over the different classes of wavelet transforms, there are at least three. Wavelet series is, together with dual wavelet, which should be dual wavelet frame, a subtopic of wavelet frame, which is part of the discretized continuous wavelet transform.--LutzL (talk) 09:26, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No there is no need to merge it

I looked Wavelet Transforms and it is not helpful for me.I think some of information are in wavelet or in other.Wavelet transform is famous than wavelet and there are some of application in reallife to wavelet transform. So wavelet transforms should separate wavelet series and not merge others.I think wavelet series just teory and maths and there is no connection with transform. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.108.57.119 (talk) 21:59, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
