Commonwealth Land Party

[edit]

Kiwichris first linked to it (to a dab page, though) and Narky Blert then turned it into a redlink. They are both very experienced editors. Rather than just unlinking, I thought I'd ask – what makes "Commonwealth Land Party (New Zealand)" notable? When I look online, I can't see anything of significance. Mind you, relevant sources may not be online. Schwede66 02:33, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if a "Commonwealth Land Party" even existed in New Zealand which is why I decided to link to a disambig page. Kiwichris (talk) 02:52, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Kiwichris and Schwede66: Direct links to DAB pages are no-nos under WP:INTDABLINK. (As an aside, indirect links to DAB pages through the (disambiguation) redirect in an attempt to evade INTDABLINK and to distract User:DPL bot drive DABfixers up the wall – they are almost impossible to find, and are totally useless to readers. Another thing which drives DABfixers up the wall is templates which merrily generate automatic bluelinks. I know ten and more of them. Some of them are extremely difficult to debug.)
For some unknown reason, I was only notified of my being mentioned here a few minutes ago. Narky Blert (talk) 18:02, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks to both for your replies. I have thus unlinked the item. Schwede66 18:13, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
