Ghanian operations in the region
[edit]Sources provided and statements given by users of this wiki could help us discuss to what extend does the Ghanian government practice direct military control of the region of Western Togoland. It is unclear as to how unchallenged Ghanian intelligence and military operations in the regions are. Can the move freely without fear of ambush, control all civilian/administrative insitutions by force if necessary? To what extend is the authority of the secessionists practiced? If at all? French
[edit]@SpinnerLaserzthe2nd: You've added that French is a regional language of Western Togoland in a section of the article entirely sourced by https://unpo.org/member/western-togoland/. Could you point to where it says they speak French in there because all I see is "Official language: English Local languages: Ewe, Dangme, Avatime, Nyagbo,Tafi, Logba, Likpe, Ahlor, Nkonya, Santrokofi, Bowiri, Akpafu Buem-Lelemi Anyanga, Atwedi, Akebu, Ntrobo, Adele Kotokoli, Kokomba, Nanumba, Nawuri, Sisala, Nchumuru, Chokosi, Getaba, Moba, Gruma, Mamprusi and Busanga, among others". I am unsure what Ghana has to do with Western Togoland. If something is spoken in Ghana (source needed) why does that mean it's spoken in this specific region? Are you guessing? - They had not updated yet but only time will tell. What we do know is that French is proposes as a second official language of the whole Ghana. "Among others" means that there are other languages this means that it is possible that French speakers might reside. According to the ODSEF, only 273,795 speak French. I had emailed the HGSF to see if there are any French speakers in this part of Ghana but it might be delays or inactive since Ghana really hated separatists.
