Largest black cottonwood?

The Oregon Department of Forestry claimed the Willamette Mission tree was the largest but that is refuted here. Neither of these page are currently published. The Oregon Travel Information Council publishes this page and this brochure which claim it is the largest in the nation. The council seems to be related to the Oregon Heritage Tree Committee and publishes their minutes. The brochure states that the council is funded by the tourism industry. –droll [chat] 02:49, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
