The current Biography section says he was born in Tennessee, and then leaves biography and heads into his philosophy. I have split those sections and added a tiny bit of additional biography cribbed from his faculty web page at Cornell. Phytism (talk) 16:10, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
