May I suggest that some of the content regarding Ossian be moved to the article Ossian (band). I note that Ogg has linked to this page from Ossian (band) - Billy Jackson. Great! However I think some of the content of this article be better placed there. I think it would make more sense from the point of view of a user of WP.

I have done as requested. I have also noticed that I accidentally this article using the wrong title. The link "William Jackson (composer)" was almost certainly intended for the composer painter, and music critic William Jackson (1730 - 1803), and not Billy Jackson (Scots harpist). It's a bit late now, but in mitigation I can claim that Billy does have more compositions in print that the English William has got. If anyone feels like writing up the English William, here is some info: http://www.hoasm.org/VIIJ/Jackson.html Ogg 10:03, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

a second Celtic Tranquility album?

[edit]

This article lists one "Celtic Tranquility", from 1992. But there's a second album, also by Jackson, from 2000, on both Spotify and Amazon, also called "Celtic Tranquility". They're completely different albums; it's not just a date mix-up. I don't know what to make of it. Did he really put out two albums with the exact same name? (Except for spelling, that is -- on Amazon and Spotify, the '92 album has two "l"s, which contradicts our article, and the 2000 album has one.) --Allen (talk) 02:25, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
