No mention of Theatre in the Woods. I know nothing about it other than its existence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.239.226.182 (talkcontribs) 21:31, 17 May 2006

Maybe there is something on the web site which gives more info. I did expand this article, but not to the point of looking up these "obscure" locations...

Eh, it's not obscure... It's not the main hall, but it's no less prominent than any of the other secondary halls. I have picture of all of it, I just don't want to saturate the article with content too quickly.--Gmaxwell 04:12, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, I've never heard of it, put it that way (and I lived in the DC area for 20 years).
It's part of their educational foundation, and is used for performances geared toward young children. http://www.wolftrap.org/Education/Childrens_Theatre-in-the-Woods.aspx Lyle (talk) 20:02, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Anyway, why NOT "saturate the article with content"? It clearly needs something on this venue, so why not add it if you have the info?? I don't believe that adding info where it is lacking is a bad thing at all.....

Well, what I have right now are images... and adding too many images tends to highlight the lack of text. :) I've added a link to a commons gallery which has a number of images. Feel free to add images from the gallery into the article as you see fit. Ultimately only the most informative/interesting images from the gallery should end up in the article. I'm still adding images, it usually takes a while after I've taken some images for me to decide that I like them.... I have pictures of Filene Center, and other things, but it might be a little bit before I decide if I like the ones I have or if I decide on making another pass next time I'm in the area with some free time. When I drain my image pipeline I'll make another pass on the textual content. If there is anything that you (or anyone else) thinks should be photographed at Wolf Trap, please let me know. --Gmaxwell 05:43, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
OK, thanks. You didn't specify that you were talking about images.......

"As Wolf Trap was preparing for its 12th season, tragedy struck once again." Not to be pedantic, but at the very least, doesn't somebody have to die for an event to be called a "tragedy?" Byset (talk) 03:24, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Not according to New Oxford Dictionary: "an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe". For those working there, they do use the word "tragedy" to describe the level of destruction - it completely burned to the ground. Lyle (talk) 19:53, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Location of the park[edit]

To address 68.100.225.11's comment in the correction history and to clear up any confusion: the park office has a Vienna mailing address but it is not in the town of Vienna, nor is the actual park. See the below census map of the Town of Vienna for reference:

Both are in the Wolf Trap CDP. The article needs to either state that (or just "in Fairfax County, Virginia"). DrRockzo (talk) 00:50, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
